Sort of. I'm considering doing another mystery, but I don't want to plan too much, too soon. It seems that whenever I start Nano with plans for a plot etc, something always happens and my effort implodes. I have some ideas, but I'm afraid to write anything down because I don't want to jinx anything, lol!
I have a fun and gruesome plot this year. I've done the chick lit thing two years in a row and want to do something more serious and along the hard crimes mystery novels I enjoy reading. Here's the short of it: A detective sets out to track down a psychopathic killer who is targeting transvestites. We'll see how it goes and whether my characters stay on track or lead me elsewhere.
My plot this year is an other-genre fiction. It's based off the "Six Impossible Things Before Breakfast" quote by from Lewis Carroll's 'Through The Looking Glass'. It has nothing to do with the Alice In Wonderland/Through The Looking Glass characters, though. The quote just inspired me to do something different this year.
