10,503 words

I wrote the hardest section, and made it through just fine. :) I unexpectedly lost over 600 words of material thanks to my word processor crashing on me and me not saving the information in time today, so I'm just a little crabby. I'm still worrying about not having enough material to make 50,000 words. And the NaNo site's down, so that's rather upsetting as well. I've had a long, hard day and I just want to go to bed and forget writing the other 1000 words I need to write for the day. Maybe I'll get up early tomorrow and make up for it. I'm going to have to do that, because I am exhausted and am literally yawning about every minute. That's it. I'm going to bed.

Ugh - I can't imagine having to re-create 600 words. Especially since my first writing session today netted my just under that count, but it took about 4 hours to get there! I'm sure tomorrow will go better for you. Sometimes it just seems to roll like that. One day will be great, the next you wonder if you've lost your brain somewhere.

Good work, keep it up! I am at 15,250 but for good reason. I don't work, go to school and I am home all day due to illness. I don't cook for anyone and I can just grab a quick sandwich and I don't clean my house if I don't want to. In other words, I canjust write all day!

This is my first Nano. I have a book alreash published and have just finished its sequel so I am taking a break to Nano!

The Nano site is horribly slow so I hope they are working on it.

I am also at home, but I can't get that much writing in.

I promised I would but my body is fighting the idea. I've decided to pace myself rather than do my normal of pushing myself.

I might actually be learning in my old age.
